We are excited to be hosting a World Cup viewing party, school day off celebration and we’d love for you to be apart! Weekdays, beginning Friday, June 15th, we will be inviting kids and adults to come to our Sport Performance Center to watch the games on a huge projector screen, play pickup games, and/or enjoy other opportunities to hang out with friends and enjoy this summer of soccer.
Why? We love soccer and, despite America failing to qualify, the game will be on full display with the pageantry and theatrics only the World Cup can provide. We suspect a ton of kids and adults will be looking for a place to watch the game, hang out and enjoy a summer day and we’d love to provide that and enjoy it alongside of you
Who? 7 year olds through kids that just finished 8th grade, email us if your child is just outside of that! Adults welcomed
When? Games will air at 6am, 9am, and Noon on weekdays. We are welcoming all adults to come for the 6am kickoffs to enjoy a game before work and adults are welcomed to remain throughout the day to watch each game. Beginning at 8:30am we will welcome kids for half-day morning (8:30-noon), half-day evening (noon-3:30) and full-day out of school camp.
Where? FC Boulder’s Sport Performance Center at 555 Aspen Ridge Rd, Lafayette, CO 80026
Cost? The child cost of a single half-day is $30, a full day is $50. IF you book for a week in advance you will be credited a day’s cost. Example: your kid wants to be there 8:30 till noon all week so that would be 5 days X 30 dollars = $150 dollars – $30 credit = $120
An Adult admission is $5 for the opening game or a day pass of $15
What? Games on the projector, fields available for small sided games and skill competitions, arts and crafts or whatever else needed to help our attendees have a great time. It will be staffed by FC Boulder with a mind towards oversight and safety but we won’t be coaching, training or otherwise micromanaging the experience! Fun day with a lot of choice.
Food? We suggest bringing a packed lunch with your name written on it, we can store these safely. If your child would rather eat pizza or a similar type lunch they would need to bring $5 dollars with them that day.
